The Firm Today
Studio Associato Ferrari – Cavallo was established in 1999 on the initiative of Dr. Giorgio Ferrari and Dr. Patrick Cavallo, chartered accountants and statutory auditors. Over the years, we have developed solid expertise in tax and corporate advisory, management control and holding company administration, with a particular focus on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating in the service and industrial sectors.
We have acquired specialist expertise in several areas, including:
• real estate (management and development);
• entertainment and music publishing;;
• IT and service sectors;
• pure, industrial and commercial holding companies.
The establishment of the Firm represents for us the natural evolution of a professional journey which, while keeping tax and corporate planning at its core, now requires multidisciplinary skills, a solid organizational structure and highly qualified professionals. We operate in a context characterized by increasing digitalization and increasingly complex electronic procedures required by the Tax Authorities and other public bodies, which we address through up-to-date and efficient technological tools. Alongside advisory services to companies, we support independent professionals, sole traders, start-ups and companies involved in business restructuring processes. We are also expanding our areas of activity with a specific focus on advisory services for Third Sector Entities, providing qualified and up-to-date support in this field as well.
Steady growth over time
Over time, we have chosen to grow and strengthen our structure by opening up to new professional collaborations. This vision led to the integration with Studio Associato Garattini Picozzi of Milan, combining expertise and experience to address an increasingly complex and evolving profession. As of January 2021, in addition to the founding partners, our structure expanded with the entry of four new partners: chartered accountants Gian Luca Lonati and Francesco Garavaglia—collaborators since 2002 and 2008 respectively—who consolidated their professional paths by becoming partners; and chartered accountants Rizziero Garattini and Alberto Picozzi, who integrated their firm into ours.
From 2023, following the exit of Dr. Alberto Picozzi, Dr. Cecilia Garattini joined the partnership as a new partner.
The evolution experienced over the years has made us aware that a professional firm focused on excellence cannot remain static. For this reason, we continuously invest in improvement, professional development and the adoption of best technological solutions, in line with regulatory and digital innovation.
STP Benefit project
As part of our responsible growth path, we have launched a development project based on the STP Benefit model, with the aim of structurally and measurably integrating principles of sustainability, responsibility and shared value creation into our organization and services.
The STP Benefit project represents a coherent evolution of the values that have always guided us: professional quality, people-centricity, ethical relationships with clients and collaborators, and a long-term vision. Through this journey, we aim to strengthen our internal governance, adopt organizational policies focused on transparency and sustainability, and develop planning and monitoring tools aligned with ESG objectives.
We support companies, professionals and Third Sector Entities in their sustainable growth paths by integrating tax, corporate, organizational and management control expertise into a structured approach that combines economic solidity with positive territorial impact.
The STP Benefit project fits into a long-term strategic vision aimed at consolidating a modern, conscious and socially responsible professional model, in line with regulatory evolution and new market needs.

Today, Studio Associato Ferrari – Cavallo consists of six partners—chartered accountants and statutory auditors—and a team of qualified professionals, including certified chartered accountants, operating from our offices in Milan and Rho.
Among our professionals, we highlight Dr. Carolina Mele, who has been a collaborator of the Firm since 2017 and has made a significant contribution to the development of activities and organizational growth. She is currently in the process of becoming a partner, representing the natural evolution of her professional path.
